Farmhouse. C18. Red brick, colourwashed at rear. Steeply-pitched roof of
black-glazed pantiles. Two storeys and attics, L-shaped plan. Main facade
to south symmetrical, of three bays: sashes with glazing bars, ground floor
tripartite sashes with segmental arches interrupting first floor platband.
Central doorway with side lights, half-glazed panelled door with glazing bars,
Moulded architrave with corner paterae. Semicircular canopy with modillions
on two traceried iron panel-columns. Crow-stepped east and west gables on
moulded brick kneelers. Axial stack off-centre to west with four linked
chimney shafts, tops rebuilt. Square base with coat of arms in recessed
panel. Internal stack with three shafts on east gable. East gable has C20
first floor window and two blocked attic openings. Colourwashed rear wing
of three bays; sashes with glazing bars, segmental heads with keyed arches
to ground floor openings. 4-panel entrance door at north-east corner.
Platband at floor level. Axial stack off-centre to north with six square
linked shafts. Crow-stepped north gable. West gable has two figure 9 tie-
irons and panel with arms in gable apex. Gabled stair outshut on north wall
flanked by one-storey lean-tos. Two gabled attic dormers. North range has
altered ground floor openings, two gabled attic dormers.
