GV II

Barn. C17. Red brick, partly colourwashed. Steeply pitched pantiled roof.
Stepped north and south gables. Double door opening central in east wall
flanked by pilaster-buttresses. Porch on west side with weatherboarded gable.
Closely-set vent loops in east, west and south walls. Linked to house by
castellated red brick garden wall to south. Interior: roof has two tiers
of butt purlins, wind braces to upper purlin. Tie beams with queen struts
to rafters, arch braces onto wall posts in two northern bays.
