Farmhouse, C16 and C17 in three builds; brick part colourwashed, brick
encased timber framing; pantiles. C17 two bays to left of 2 storeys; C16
range to right of 1 storey and attic; C19 forward wing of Ii storeys to
both builds. Left end chimney bay and stack; internal stack to left end
of right range. 2 bay build to left: colourwashed; platband front and rear
and return; raised from 1½ storeys, lower walls with alternate courses of
headers on edge. South facade with renewed openings with casements, central
doorway blocked. Left return with some brick tumbling in; 2 small blocked
openings to ground and first floor. Rear with 1½ storeyed porch to left
with brick tumbling-in to gable, semi-circular arch, oval openings to left
and right returns, platband. Interior: large gable end fireplace to ground
floor, stack enclosed to first-floor, C17 stack to attic; ground floor
left bay raised. Roof of 2 tiers of staggered purlins, part renewed.
C16 single storey and attic range to right: timber framed with brick casing,
pantiles, 2 C20 gabled dormers to left, varied renewed openings of 2 case-
ments and 2 doorways. Large internal stack and chimney bay to left.
Interior: wall plate and studs to south, studs to partition walls. 4 bay
roof with no purlins, partitions with queen posts and wattle and daub infill,
parts of roof renewed; stack enclosed; forward bay across both builds, gable
to front, clay lump encased by brick, pantiles, 1½ storeys, roof with
collars.
