Milestone, late C18, for Norwich and Thetford Turnpike Trust; limestone.
Wedge shaped, c.60cm high with rounded cap, tapering from 14 to 31 cm.
Recessed full width panels inscribed NORWICH / 4 / MILES and THETFORD /
25 / MILES. The road was turnpiked in 1767.
