6/7 Stable and Coach House
immediately west of
Chedgrave Manor


Stable and coach house, early C19. Red brick with hipped roof of black glazed
pantiles. Two storeys. Symmetrical east facade to courtyard with central
double door opening with segmental gauged brick arch. Two stable doors with
semicircular arched heads and fanlights, each flanked by two semicircular
headed window openings. Three first floor 2-light casements. Brick dentil
eaves. Chimney stack off-centre on ridge line. Blocked first floor opening
in north wall. Included for group value.
