Remains of Country house, late C15. Very long brick gatehouse range with
blue diapering. The east end was probably originally timber framed on the
first floor but later brick faced to match. Steep pantile roof with parapeted
gable ends. Two storeys and attic. Restored wood mullion windows with leaded
panes. At the west end a gateway through with restored timber framed jettied
gable on the south and brick gable on the north. Four centred archway with
brick octagonal angle shafts and finials and two-light four-centred arch
window, crenellated. Brick chimney stacks with four shafts moulded and
octagonal. Moated site to west where the house stood.
