GV II

Former threshing barn, now store. Early C17. Timber framed and weather
boarded, gable to road partly underbuilt in red brick. Steeply pitched roof
clad in corrugated iron. Five structural bays. Large double door waggon
entrance in east side with monopitch porch roof. Whitewashed brick and
pantile lean-to porch on west side. Small stable door in south gable.
Interior: jowled posts with tie beams, arch braces missing and some replaced
with timber knees. Braces to corner posts. Roof structure of upper clasped
purlin and lower staggered butt purlins. Included for group value.
