(east side)
3/89 Holly Cottage
House formerly 2 houses. Early C18 partially timber framed house with late
C18 brick skin. Thatched roof. One storey and dormer attic. C20 plank door
to left. Assorted casements and sashes to ground floor, the casements C19,
the sashes C20. Gabled roof with 2 dormers under thatch placed with approximate
symmetry. C20 casements within them. Central ridge stack. North gable
constructed of colourwashed wattle and daub over timber framing. Remains of
timber frame survive in interior, of thin scantling.
