House, subdivided into flats and maisonettes. 1721, refaced in Gothick style c.1770.
Colourwashed flint and brick. Pantiled roofs. Facade of 2-3 storeys. Central
recessed bay containing panelled door under rounded overlight. Roundel punched
to first floor and, above this, a punched cinquefoiled circle with whole flint
surround. Giant pilasters which edge recessed bay have flint rustication. Windows
have 2-light Y tracery under arched heads including late C18 2 bay extension to
east. some windows renewed and some blind. Crenellated parapets all round concealing
hipped roofs. 2 large brick stacks emerge over parapets. C20 full height extension
to rear.
