A fine late C17 house. Red brick with blue headers. Steep black glazed
pantile roof with shaped gable ends. Moulded wood eaves cornice. Moulded
brick string course at floor level. Two storeys and attic. Seven windows,
end and centre in slight projection, first floor centre blocked with moulded
brick cill. All sashes with glazing bars in exposed casing. Central large
fielded panel door in shouldered moulded architraves. No. 14 to right has
fielded panel and partly glazed door with rectangular fanlight and cornice
hood on shaped brackets. Moulded brick plinth. Two gabled dormers with
glazing bars. Brick chimney stacks one rebuilt. South end has wood mullion/
transome casements and sash and panelled door. The north end first floor
two blocked windows with projecting brick surrounds with moulded brick
cornices, ground floor sash and glazed door with rectangular fanlight and
hood on shaped brackets.
