8/6 High Green House (No 22)

House. C18, remodelled in early C19, with C17 range to rear. Colourwashed
brick. Glazed black pantile hipped roof. 3-cell plan, with outshut to rear.
Facade of 3 bays, 2 storeys. Rendered plinth. 16 pane sash windows. Centre
bay projects slightly; doorcase with fluted attached columns and fascia,
roundels in the corners; 6 panel door with panelled reveals. 12 pane sash
above door with 16 pane sash to either side. Gable end stacks. Left hand
gable wall has platband which formerly continued across left hand bay of
facade, now hacked off. Interior. Range to rear timber-framed and now clad
in brick. Rest of interior now of C19 remodelling.
