GV II

Farmhouse, now house. Early C17, with C18 and mid C20 alterations
English bond red brick; gabled clay pantile roof with moulded
kneelers to copings; two C19 brick ridge stacks. Original plan
form unclear, probably of 3 units with lobby entry, because house
altered into barn with central threshing floor in C18. 2 storeys;
6-window first-floor range to garden front. Mid C20 windows.
Inserted C18 barn door to centre. C20 windows to rear. Gable
ends have chamfered architraves to blocked attic windows.
Interior: clasped-purlin roof with diminished principals and
windbraces; intermediate collars with birdmouth joints to purlins.
