3/40 Mundham House


House. C18. Brick. Glazed black pantile hipped roof. 3-cell plan with C19
and C20 additions to rear. Facade of 5 bays, 2 storeys and attic. Sash windows
with glazing bars under rubbed and gauged brick arches. Central doorcase with
2 orders of pilasters supporting open pediment; door of 6 raised and fielded
panels; peacock tail fanlight. 5 sashes to first floor. Timber modillions
to eaves cornice. 2 C20 attic dormers with open pediments over. 2 rebuilt
stacks to rear wall. In range to rear, an elaborately tiled outside lavatory
of c.1880.
