House. (The descriptions of this house and Abbey Farmhouse Item
No. 3/43 q.v. are transposed on the previous list). C17. Rendered
timber frame. Thatched roof. 3-cell lobby entrance type plan.
Facade of 4 bays, 2 storeys. Rendered plinth. C20 windows. C20
door with flat hood between third and fourth bays. 4 C20 windows
to upper floor. C19 axial stack; off-centre axial stack with 2
truncated polygonal shafts.

Interior: The right hand room has exposed close-studding; ovolo
moulded cross-beam with bar stops and recessed soffit and a brick
fireplace splayed inside and with chamfered jambs, its lintel has
been replaced. There is a small reset ovolo-moulded window in the
back wall of the right hand room. The centre room has wall posts
with moulded capitals supporting a chamfered cross-beam with
notched run-out stops and a new fireplace. The small unheated
left hand end room has a cross beam with thin chamfers and large
chamfered joists.
On the first floor the right hand end has large wall posts with
gunstack jowled heads and an ovolo-moulded blocked window in the
rear wall. The right hand end bedchamber has chamfered tie-beam
ovolo-moulded ceiling beam and a brick fireplace with chamfered 3-
centred arch.
