The Thatched House

Originally 3 houses, now one. Early C18 centre and western blocks. C19 eastern
section. Many C20 alterations. Rendered and colourwashed brick with thatched roofs
Central portion of one storey and dormer attic, the whole with C20 artificial studs
nailed onto brickwork. Door left of centre behind C20 brick porch. One renewed
casement window left and right. Gabled roof with 2 eyebrow dormers. Ridge stack
over door. Western block is slightly earlier. One storey and dormer attic. One
bay. One segmental-headed casement to ground floor and one thatched dormer in
gabled roo. Western internal gable end stack. C19 east block of 2 storeys, also
with artificial studwork applied to exterior. . Square plan. One C20 casement to
each of 3 free sides on each storey. Gabled C20 porch to south side. Gabled roof.
