7/20 Old Hall Farmhouse
- II

Farmhouse. Mid C17, altered mid C18, extensions early C20. Roughcast brick
and flint, the north side whitewashed. Roof of concrete corrugated tiles.
Through passage plan. 2 storeys and attic. North front formed by 3 storey
cross wing set to left of centre. Panelled door with C18 Gibbsian surround
below Dutch timber pediment. One C20 window each floor above. Cross wing
has Dutch gable. To each side of cross wing are early C20 single storey
extensions, that to west having acquired a dormer. South front of 5 bays.
Panelled door with timber surround. Fenestration of C20 casements, those to
ground floor with segmental arches. Gabled roof. Ridge stack to right of
door and partly external western gable end stack.
