6/5 Mill House


Former millers house. Early C19, Gault brick, red brick, black and red pantiles.
Two storeys, and range of outbuildings. Three-bay facade with C20 sash windows,
gauged brick segmental arches. Timber door surround with 3/4-round Roman Doric
pilasters and entablature. Eaves with soffit brackets, chimneys at gable. Internal
shutters to sash windows. Rear wing with dentil eaves and scattered fenestration
including wrought iron lattice window. At end of range, pitched roof coach-house.
Garden walls of red brick, red brick and flint, one section with 3-high brick arcades.
Dwarf wall at the front with wrought iron railings.
