TG 02 SW FOULSHAM STATION ROAD

3/23 Westfield House

Farmhouse. Late C16 red brick, flint and pantiled. Two storeys with attics.
Gabled stair tower at rear. Facade of mid C17, 5 bays, sash windows with glazing
bars, flat arches and moulded brick vousoirs. Windows in front of stack blocked.
Sash windows at rear. Flint plinth and stringcourses on parapet gables. Off-set
axial stack, and external gable stack to right. Elaborate moulded, stopped and
chamfered ceiling beams in hall and parlour. Fireplaces with moulded and chamfered
bressummers. Late C18 staircase, square balusters and scrolled brackets.
