TG 02 NE GUESTWICK WOOD DALLING ROAD

2/38 Old Hall Farm House

Early C17 farmhouse, much altered. Red brick and flint. Pantiled roofs. Two
storeys and attics with single storey link to eastern farm. Central block,
symmetrical with 2½ storey bays with crow-stepped gables, probably rebuilt in C19.
Timber mullion and transom windows of 4-lights on ground and first floors, 2-lights
in attic. Stepped gable and internal gable chimneystacks. East gable of flint,
with blocked windows with brick jambs and dripmoulds. Moulded brick stringcourse
at rear. East wing with stepped gables and C19 timber mullion and transom windows.
Plaque in brick, inscribed WB.
