6/6 Boundary Walls, Gates
and Gate-piers to
Oxnead Hall.

Boundary walls to garden on north-west side of Oxnead Hall. c.1600. Red brick,
coped walls with recessed openings under elliptical arches. Two small pavilions
adjoining north gateway, semi-octagonal on plan, with plain-tiled roofs. Brick
dentil eaves. Plain brick pilasters on garden front; door openings with
segmental heads. Two square piers symmetrically placed in line with pavilions
to the south with pineapple-shaped finials. Included for group value with
Oxnead Hall.
