The Thatched Cottages.

Pair of cottages. Mid C18. Red brick, reed-thatched roof. 1½ storeys.
Two-light casement windows with segmental heads. Four windows, two doors
on ground floor : one original two-panel entrance door and frame. Swept dormer
with two-light casement. Plain brick corner pilasters with moulded caps.
Parapeted gables with brick tumbling and moulded oversailing courses at eaves.
Off-centre chimney stack. Traces of diaper patterning in south gable. C20
casements in gables. Later lean-to at north gable.
