The White House.

G.V. II

House, late C17/early C18. Whitewashed brick, smut pantile roof. Two storeys,
lobby-entrance plan. Four window range; two and three light casements with
segmental heads, probably C19. Off-centre axial chimney stack. Entrance
opposite stack; pedimented wooden doorcase with Tuscan pilasters. Plat band
at first floor level and on gables. Parapeted gables with tumbling; external
stack on north-west gable. Wooden eaves cornice. C20 extensions to rear.
C18 staircase with two turned balusters per tread, and turned newel.
