3/98 The Beeches.


House. Late C18 and early C19. Red brick, pantile roofs, hipped over later
range to west. Two storeys, T-shaped plan. West facade of three bays; sash
windows with glazing bars and rubbed brick arches. Central 6-panel door,
partly glazed. Doorcase with reeded pilasters and entablature. Panelled
reveals. Wide eaves overhang. Lower two-storey rear wing. C19 and C20
casements. Entrance door off-centre. Chimney stacks at east gable and on
ridge line. Brick dentil eaves.
