The White House.

House, former public house. C17. Stone, flint and brick with brick quoins,
all whitewashed. Steeply-pitched thatched roof. Two storeys and cellar, lobby
entrance plan. Gable end to street has four sash windows, three with glazing
bars and architraves, the fourth a C20 replacement. Brick platbands and floor
levels, brick tumbling in gable parapet. Two C20 casements in south wall,
entrance door opposite stack. Platband on south wall at first floor level.
Moulded brick eaves oversailing courses in gables. Central axial chimney stack;
internal stack at east gable. Pantiled lean-to incorporating later chimney
stack on north side.
