House, early C19, possibly with earlier core. Rendered, with slate and black
pantile roofs. Double pile, 2 storeys, with flat roofed extension to north
and hipped roof extension to south. Facade to west of 5 windows with central
6 panel door with raised and fielded panels and doorcase with panelled
pilasters and pediment on consoles. Windows, sashes, with glazing bars on
first floor. Louvres to windows. Brick modillion cornice, parapet gables,
with end stacks on each pile. Off centre axial stack on west pile.North and
south extensions not of special interest. Wrought iron railings attached
to the house either side of the door, forming 2 enclosures, segmental in plan.
Fluted piers with finials. Intermediate piers with fleur-de-lys finials.
Dog-rail with spear top finials. Scrolled segmental arches above with rosettes
in the spandrels.
