House and shop, early C18, of red brick, rendered and colourwashed brick and
black pantiled brick. 'L' shaped plan of 2 storeys and. attic. Gable wall
of early C18 wing, faces the road of one window. Inserted door and sash
windows with glazing bars, that at first floor within an original opening.
Moulded brick platbands on east and west walls at first floor level. Curved
gables, north and south, the former with internal gable stack. Gabled dormer
on west roof slope with 2-light casement window with glazing bars. Wing to
east, mid C18, now rendered, obscured 3 window facade, the outer windows now
blocked. Central sash windows with glazing bars. Giant pilasters with
capitals on outer margins of facade. Moulded brick cornice and panelled
parapet. 2½ gables at rear. Central axial stack on apex of ½ gable roof.
