TG 2719 COLTISHALL CHURCH STREET (north)

8/15 Risings.

- II

House, late C17 and later. Brick, colourwashed brick and flint with pantiled
roof. 'U' shaped plan, 2 storeys. Late C17 wing to east, extended in mid
C18, forming double fronted house with curved gables, joined by central brick
parapet. Gable ends to road. Central ½ glazed door with raised and fielded
panels. C19 timber doorcase with panelled pilasters, entablature and cornice.
Semi-circular window above the door, with gauged brick arch. C19 windows in
gable walls. Shallow brick piers between each bay to first floor window sill
height. East wing of brick and flint. West wing , has brick corbelled
eaves. Central axial stack in each wing. C18 pine double framed roof.
