TG 2619 COLTISHALL HIGH STREEET (east)

8/30 Blacksmith's Yard.

G.V. II

House, late Cl7, extended in C18. Rendered end colourwashed brick and flint
with pantiled roofs. 2 storeys end attics. 1½ storey extension to west,
continuous outshut to north. Lean-to extension to south c.1983. 2½ storey
section, 3 structural bays, lobby entrance plan. C18 windows with wrought
iron casements and segmental arches. Inserted C20 windows. parapet gable
to east, 2 gabled dormers with casements windows to south. Off-centre axial
stack and eastern end stack. 1½ storey section has 3 casement windows with
segmental arches and C20 wedge dormer to south. Open brick fireplaces with
timber bressumers. Staggered butt purlin roofs with wind braces.
