Salhouse Hall,including
boundary wall to south.


Stable block, dated 1764, but with C19 additions and remodelling. Red brick,
with hipped roof of black-glazed pantiles. South facade symmetrical : three
door openings with segmental heads (the two outer openings apparently reduced
in height). Central opening larger with double doors into stalls. Two C19
single light window openings with cusped heads and square drip moulds. Central
C19 dormer with single light window with drip mould; parapeted and coped gable.
North elevation has scattered C18 fenestration of casements with segmental
heads; one first floor opening with chamfered reveals. First floor door
opening and two vents with trefoiled heads in east wall. At south-west, a
castellated red brick wall linking to south boundary wall. Gateway, slightly
off-centre with chamfered reveals and brick buttresses with round finials.
Two blocked segmental-headed openings in plinth.
