7/74 The Grange.

House, C18. Red brick with black-glazed pantile roofs. Two storeys. Of
two builds, the right hand block probably earlier. Lower left hand block
with range of three windows; C19 two and three light casements with transom.
Segmental heads over window openings. Large off-centre ridge stack. Entrance
opposite stack via projecting red brick porch with crow-stepped gable. Simple
doorcase to entrance door. At the south-west corner a C19 square bay with
corner buttresses and stepped gable. Right hand block with rusticated brick
quoins, wide eaves overhang with bracketted soffit. Large internal gable
chimney at junction of two blocks. Platband on east gable. Later fenestration
and dormers on north side.
