The Old Hall

I

Dated 1686 on east face of central chimney stack. Red brick, hipped pantile roofs.
Two storeys, attic and basement. Facade of seven bays, three centre bays recessed.
Central doorway with semi-circular headed door opening. Brick pilasters with Ionic
capitals and segmental moulded brick pediment. Sashes with architraves and glazing
bars. Gauged brick arches. Rusticated brick quoins. Moulded brick string course at
first floor. Plinth with moulded stone capping. Wooden eaves cornice. Three dormers
with segmental heads. Three chimney stacks. Gabled wing on east side. Some casements
with leaded lights on north side.
