GV Barns immediately north
of the Old Hall

II

Late C18/early C19. Red brick, steeply pitched pantiled roofs. Western range
comprises two-storey coach house/stable block. Shaped gables. Blocked pedimented
window in west gable. Two modern arched openings with double doors. Two windows with
segmental arches. Off centre doorway with pedimented head. Small gabled outshut on
south side. To the east, a barn of four bays. Large double doors off-centre in south
wall. Plain brick pilasters. Honeycomb brick vents in south wall and east gable.
Modern roof structure with some old tie beams.
