TG 11 NW WESTON LONGVILLE RECTORY ROAD

2/47 The Old Rectory.

Former rectory house. Late C18/early C19. Red brick, formerly limewashed,
hipped slate roof. Two storeys; 3 x 3 bays. Central bays of south and east
facades advanced and pedimented with paired brick pilasters. Paired corner
pilasters. Sashes with glazing bars; gauged arches over openings. Brick
aprons under first floor windows. Large central tripartite sash on south
elevation, full storey height with Doric pilasters flanking side lights.
Moulded wooden eaves cornice. East facade symmetrical with central doorway
with pulvinated architrave and Doric pilasters. Two large chimney stacks
on ridge line. Small one-storey hipped wing to north.
