TG 11 NW WESTON LONGVILLE WESTON ROAD

19.1.52. west of Weston Hall.
(formerly listed as Weston Old
G.V. II Hall including barn)

Six-stead threshing barn, C16 and C17. Timber frame on brick plinth, partly
weatherboarded and partly plastered. Reed-thatched roof with gable ends.
East wall rendered, with two pairs of double doors, eaves raised slightly
over openings. Gables weatherboarded. West wall weatherboarded with double
doors and projected gabled porch. Later pantiled lean-to's at north end.
Interior has cambered tie beams, butt purlin roof with straight wind bracing;
some members re-used. Included for group value with Weston Hall.
