Former schoolmasters house and schoolroom. Early C18, of red brick with pantiled
roof. L-shaped plan of 2½ storeys, with single storey wing to west and with C18
extension to north. Principal facade of 3 windows to road, with the schoolroom of
2 windows attached to west. Rear wing, originally of 1 window, the end marked by
a rusticated quoin and former end stack, now inside later rear wing of 3 windows.
Early C18 part has C20 replacement cross windows and original 'Y' traceried Gothick
windows with central wrought iron light, and lead glazing situated at ground floor
level in gable walls. East attic gable has 2 light casement window with wrought
iron lights. Brick corbeleaves to schoolroom. Platbands at attic floor level on
gables. Rear wing has central C20 door and doorcase. Replacement cross windows.
Segmental brick arches with key blocks. Brick and flint plinth, first floor level
platband, brick dentil eaves, parapet gables with brick kneelers and end stacks.
