TG 30 NW BLOFIELD LINGWOOD ROAD

7/8 House at Owls Barn.

G.V. II

Farmhouse, early C18, of red brick, colourwashed brick with thatched roof.
2 storeys with continuous rear outshut. 3 windows. Central ½ glazed entrance
door and C20 casement windows. Segmental brick arches at first floor level.
Evidence of blocked windows in south wall. Parapet gables and end stacks,
chamfered bridging joist with ogee stops. Fragment of fireplace bressumer,
with monogram R.W. and dated 1732. Included for group value.
