Farmhouse, C18 and later. Built of red brick and colourwashed brick with smut
pantiled roof. 'L'-shaped plan of 2 storeys and attics with additional 2 storey
pile at rear and single storey lean-to extensions to east. Facade to west
5 windows. C20, off-centre entrance porch towards southern end. Sash windows
with glazing bars and segmental brick arches. C19 and C20 casements with
transoms towards northern end. Cl9 slatted 4-light Dairy windows with segmental
brick arches to north. Early C18 3-light mullion and transom window at rear,
with stay bar and external casement stay for wrought iron light. C19 6 panel
door and fanlight with lattice pattern glazing bars and timber doorcase with
panelled reveals, moulded pilasters with diamond pattern stops and projecting
cornice. C19 and C20 sash and casement windows. C18 3-light window with wrought
iron casement, and original leaded lights. Brick dentil eaves, parapet gables,
and axial stack on west wing, end stack east wing, and axial and end stacks
on south east wing.
