4/45 Red Lion Public House.
II
Public House, early C18, of colourwashed brick with thatched roof. Later
extensions to east and west have pantiled roofs. C18 central section 1½
storeys. Facade of 3 windows plus central door. C20 half glazed door with
glazing bars. 3-light windows with top hung casements. Parapet gable to west
with brick kneelers, tumbling in and end stack. C19 extension to east, 1½
storeys, has axial stack and hipped roof. Single storey lean-to extension
to west not of special interest.
