4/59 The Old Post Office.
House and shop. Early C19 of red brick with slate roof. 2 storeys with 1½
storey rear outshut. Facade of 3 windows, with central part glazed 6 panel
door in double reveal with elliptical gauged brick arch. Radial pattern in
the arch spandrel. Sash windows with glazing bars and shallow segmental gauged
brick arches. Bracketed eaves, hipped roof and 2 rear stacks. Included for
group value.
