Former use unknown, now shop. Of built against C16 wall. C20 renovation,
Rendered timber-frame at first floor. Flint-rubble and brick rear wall.
Pantile roof Corner site. 2 storeys plus attic, 3 storeys in Swan Lane.
Long facade to each street with one window in Bedford Street and 2 windows
in Swan Lane. C20 corner shopfront with entrance from Swan Lane. Sash
windows throughout with glazing bars. Rusticated quoins on both facades.
Gable dormer with sash window to Bedford Street and gable-end in Swan Lane.
The rear wall parallel to Swan Lane contains a large 4-centre moulded
brick arch that was originally in the west gable of a building at right-
angles to and away from the present street frontage.
