The description shall be amended so that after "Shop C19", the lst sentance"Possibly C14
undercrofts." shall be added. After the last sentence tile description shall be amended
by the addition of the following: "To the west of the C19 cellar extending beneath
Weaver's Lane are two possibly C14, rendered brick side chambers, both with a four-
centred profile. The southern chamber is ranged at right-angles and the other, higher
chamber is parallel to the building above. The orientation of the latter is unusual and
appears to pre-date the kown C14 lauout of the market and extention of the geounds of
St. Peter Mancroft.

Shop C19. Brick with stucco detail. Hipped slate and tile roofs.
Occupies corner site. 4 storeys, 4 bays to Gentlemants Walk. C20
shop front to ground floor. First floor Corinthian pilasters and cornice
supporting plain pilasters with egg and dart capitals. 2nd floor cornice.
Sash windows with semi-circular top light. Raised and panelled surrounds
with keystone and impost moulding. The Market Place facade has a 3:2:1
pyramidal window arrangement with paired pilasters on the top floor.
The western half of this facade projects forward with quoins and has been
treated as, or was originally, a separate building. The first floor
arrangement is continued through but on the lower second and third floors
the sash windows have rubbed brick flat arches. Projecting moulded cornice
and parapet.
