Terrace of 6 houses. 1872 on tablet. Red brick with diapers and some yellow
brick details; hipped pantile roof; 3 brick ridge chimneys. 2 storeys;
6 first-floor windows. Doors at ends and in pairs (No. 3, C20) alternate
with pairs of sash windows with glazing bars under cambered gauged brick
arches with moulded keyblocks on ground floor (No, 31 has C20 first-floor
window). Round-headed passage arch at right end. Central tablet:
Rose Cottage/City Road/1872.
