GV II
Former house, converted into factory and under restoration at the time of
re-survey. Early C17. Heightened, refaced and extended in the late C18.
Red brick and pantile roof. 3 storeys. 5 symmetrical bays plus one bay
to right-hand side. Central door with rusticated surround, pulvinated
frieze and small flat hood. Rusticated pilasters. Sash windows throughout
with glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches with Keystone. Pilasters
flanking first floor central window. Moulded brick cornice. Fine Cl7
stone fireplace surround with carved spandrels at first floor. R. Smith
