Terrace of 6 houses. Early C19. Red brick; hipped slate roof; 3 brick
ridge chimneys (rebuilt). 2 storeys and basement; 12 first-floor windows.
Doors (mostly panelled) to right and left of each pair have overlights with
glazing bars in panelled reveals. Nos. 79, 81 and 87 have fluted pilasters
supporting triglyph friezes; Nos. 83 and 85 have fluted doorcases with
corner roundels, and No. 89 has a projecting late C19 glazed porch. Most
windows have sashes with glazing bars (large panes to No. 89; No. 81 with
C20 top-hung casements), all under flat gauged brick arches. Paired modillion
cornice to Nos. 79, 81 and 83; moulded fascia cornice to Nos. 85, 87 and 89.
Later C19 roof-light to No. 89 and 2-storey extension to light with one first-
floor window over passage arch.
