5.6.72. No. 37 (formerly listed with
Nos. 39 and 41).
Former house, now office. Late C18. Red brick and pantile roof.
3 storeys, 4 bays. Shopfront with door on right side, 2 Corinthian
pilasters dividing window and panelled pilasters with ornate consoles
supporting hood. Sash windows throughout with rubbed brick flat arches:
glazing bars at first floor. Stringcourse at first floor cill level.
Acanthus bracket cornice. Fine ground-floor plasterwork ceiling, panelled
rooms and staircase.
