ST AUGUSTINE'S STREET (north east side)
Rear of Nos 13 and 15

II
Former use unknown, now shops. Late C16. Flint rubble and brick with pantile
roof. The block is set back from and is parallel to the street line with a wing
at the south end containing a door with moulded jambs. An C18 passage runs
through the centre and could reflect an original feature. Two-storey plus cellar
with one first floor mullion and transom window with ovolo mouldings. The
passage is reflected on the first floor by a small room with lower tie beams.
The block represents one variant in the siting of medieval buildings in Norwich.
