Large House, now convent. Late C18. Red brick; hipped pantile roof;
2 brick ridge chimneys. 2 storeys and attic, 6 first-floor windows
with slightly projecting centre bay. 3 steps up to panelled double-
leaf door in panelled reveals. Door and side windows are each flanked
by Ionic pilasters. 2 Ionic columns supprt a hood with garland
entablature, paterae and dentilled cornice which extends over the side
windows. Sash windows with glazing bars under flat gauged brick arches.
Central pediment. Box cornice. 2 small flat-roofed dormers. Chapel
adjoining to right is not of special architectural interest.
