House. Early and mid C18 with C19 alterations. Squared coursed ironstone with
slate roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys with attic. Main front of 3-window range of
tripartite sash windows under stone lintels. Central part-glazed panelled door
has moulded wood surrround. Ashlar gable parapets and 3 C20 roof dormers.
Chamfered plinth. External brick stack to right and brick and stone stack to
left. Rear wing has one wooden cross window, upper storey of this wing
remodelled C20. Interior: entrance hall has C19 staircase with stick balustrade
and room to left has open fireplace with bressumer and bread oven. C18 ironstone
wall attached to left of main front. Included for group value.
