2 cottages. C17/C18. Coursed limestone rubble with thatched
roof and brick ridge and end stacks. One storey and attic. 4
bays. No.39 3-window range, C20 door with wooden lintel
between first- and second bays. Blocked window between second
and third bays. 3-light casement windows with wooden lintels
(eyebrow dormers to attic) Wall-tie end, fourth bay is part
of No.40, and also has a 3-light casement window with wooden
lintel to ground floor and attic. Entrance to No.40 in gabled
rear wing, which has C20 openings. Interiors not inspected.
