Barn, possibly originally stable block. Late C16. Squared
coursed limestone with ashlar dressings, Collyweston stone
slate roof with coped gables. Originally of 2 storeys, floor
mostly removed to create lofty barn space. Gable end has 2
3-light hollow-chamfered stone mullioned windows with round-
headed lights and hood moulds. Flanks have 2- and 3-light
stone mullioned windows, and some boarded openings with wooden
lintels. Plain board doors with wooden lintels, some blocked
doorways. Interior: roof trusses arch braced to tie beam, with
queen struts to collar and with wind-braces, modified. Barn
part of 4 bays. Blocked doorways to floored section at both
levels. Wall plaster carries graffiti, including circular
patterns.
